2. What Data Do We Process?
During the application process, we process the following categories of personal data:
- Personal data: Name, address, contact details (email, phone)
- Application data: CV, certificates, qualifications, medical license
- Professional data: Work experience, specialization, current position
- Preferences: Desired region, salary expectations, working time model
- Communication data: Email correspondence, interview notes
3. Purposes and Legal Basis
We process your data for the following purposes:
Placement with Employers
Legal basis: Your consent and the performance of pre-contractual measures, in accordance with PIPEDA.
Talent Pool
With your consent, we include you in our talent pool and contact you when suitable job offers arise. Legal basis: Consent, in accordance with PIPEDA.
Communication
We process your contact data to get in touch with you and inform you about the status of your application.
4. Disclosure to Third Parties
Your application documents will only be forwarded to potential employers with your express consent. Before each disclosure, we will inform you about:
- The name of the potential employer
- The specific position
- Which documents will be transmitted
Without your consent, no disclosure to employers will take place.
5. Retention Period
We store your data as follows:
- Upon successful placement: 3 years after placement (for replacement guarantee)
- Talent pool: Until revocation of your consent, maximum 2 years with periodic confirmation
- Upon rejection: 6 months after completion of the process
6. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Information: What data we have stored about you
- Correction: Correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: Removal of your data from our system
- Restriction: Limitation of data processing
- Objection: Against the processing
- Data portability: Export of your data
- Revocation: Revocation of granted consents at any time
7. Revocation of Consent
You can revoke your consent to data processing at any time. Send an email to privacy@medastra.ca or use our contact form. The revocation does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out until the revocation.
8. Data Security
We employ technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against loss, destruction, manipulation, and unauthorized access. Our systems are SSL-encrypted and are regularly checked for security.
